Assam GT/ PGT TET Final Result Declared – Download Appointment Letters

Assam TET Result 2025: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam is all set to declare the final results of the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test (TCR) 2024 for Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts. As per the official announcement made by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the final results will be published at 10:30 AM on 17th October 2025.

The TET cum Recruitment Test was conducted on 19th January 2025 across nine districts of Assam. 3. Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must be:

• a citizen of India, or

Medical Fitness Standards

Candidates must meet the required medical standards prescribed by Indian Railways to ensure physical fitness for the duties associated with the posts.

• A-3, B-1, and C-1 categories apply depending on the post.

• Lasik surgery candidates are not eligible for A-3 standard posts.

Selection Process

The selection process for RRB JE/DMS/CMA 2025 involves the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)

   • Objective-type questions covering technical subjects, General Awareness, and Aptitude.

   • Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for every wrong answer.

2. Document Verification (DV)

   • Candidates shortlisted based on CBT merit (1:1 ratio per RRB) will be called for verification.

3. Medical Examination

   • Final selection will depend on medical fitness as per railway standards.

4. Final Merit List

• Based on normalized marks in CBT, followed by document and medical verification.

Reservation Policy

Vertical Reservation:

• SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and EWS as per government norms.

Horizontal Reservation:

• For Ex-Servicemen (ExSM) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Candidates must produce valid certificates in the prescribed formats during Document Verification.

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released important guidelines regarding the DEE LP UP Provisional Merit List 2025. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions mentioned below:

• The Provisional Merit List has been prepared based on the details and documents submitted by applicants during the online application process and physical document verification.

• If any discrepancy or mismatch is found in the submitted documents, the candidature will be cancelled.

• Inclusion of a candidate’s name in the Provisional Merit List does not guarantee appointment. Selection will be finalized only after the publication of the Final Select List.

• Appointment letters will be issued solely to the candidates whose names appear in the Final Select List.

• All uploaded certificates and documents will undergo Back-Office Verification from respective Boards/ Councils/ Universities/ Authorities to ensure authenticity.

• Any negative report from the verification authorities will result in cancellation or termination of candidature.
